Support information
While I offer support, it's only for the things I have changed or added myself, or with issues with the server backend.I offer no support with bugs and missing features in the base game at the time of release of the version in question. Feature requests are welcome, but there's no guarantee that they'll be accepted.
If you're experiencing problems, you can either check the FAQ below or try to contact me, which can be done through the server, or wherever else you can find me at.
maxthefox9172 is very graciously providing some officially unofficial support here: https://maxthefox9172.github.io/neoalpha
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: The game doesn't work for me, what do I do?
A: It may be a temporary problem as I may be in the middle of changing some crucial stuff to either work better, or to add a new feature. Otherwise, contact me, and I'll try my best to get it resolved.
Q: The game doesn't work on my OS, what do I do?
A: LWJGL 2 support with certain platforms tends to be hit or miss, since it has been last updated in 2015.
Right now, until I get someome to help me with compiling natives, your best bet is to install another OS and try to play on that.
Q: Why do some people have capes?
A: I have backported capes to Alpha, as they were only added in Beta 1.0
People who either own capes on their actual Minecraft account and people who did something special to deserve a cape (such as help me with maintaining the server) get capes.
Please don't beg me for a cape, as it's my choice whether you get one or not.
I don't want to sound rude, but I want to keep the capes special, like the official capes, and not hand them out like candy, as then they'll lose their value.
All players will temporarily get capes during special occasions though, so be on the lookout for that.
